Claire

Remember this name.. Claire Lynton .  She will develop into a remarkable young woman some day.  She is a young talent with a free spirit.  She paints, sculpts, sketches, takes  French and Chinese, cooks, dances and is both intelligent and adorable!  She is the grand daughter of my dearest friend, Beverly Lynton.  Beverly is a transplanted Texan and Texas misses her.

Claire's pose is to show off the ring that I sent to her recently.

Frank Biliac at the annual Spring Round Top Antiques Show in 2005.

I ran into my friend, Frank Biliac, a decorator on the Trading Spaces show.  As many of you know he is an extraordinarily gifted Folk Artist as well as a comedian and a great guy.  We met having had a booth next to his at a number of conventions over the years was a special treat to get to know him.  Frank's wife Judy is a great talent in her own right. She designs needle work and is successful in her own field.

I took this photo to give to my 14 year old granddaughter.  She has watched his show for the past few years.  In fact she watched it for about a year before I knew Frank was on the show.   She could not believe that I knew him.   He drew a cute little caricature of himself on a note to her.  She was thrilled and her friends were impressed.  Thank you Frank.
