Spring has definitely arrived in Central Texas!!! Fruit trees and flowering trees are glorious. Irises and tulips that are about to open. With a renewed spirit I welcome the challenges of the year. This is not a newsletter (you can look for one in a week or so), instead it is a heads up to let you know a sale will start tomorrow and I did not want you to miss out. See Flyer here We returned from a successful show at the Creative Painting Conference in Vegas last week. We renewed friendships and added many, many new painting friends. I am reminded how blessed I am each time I return from a seminar or show. Unfortunately I failed to take photos this year of classes and customers. So much going on and the camera did not leave our room. I promise to do better next show. Speaking of next time, we will be going West again to Anaheim, CA in late May for the SDP Conference. I understand the registration is about 1200, so the show should be a great one. It is not too late to register. We received a notice soon after registration began that the Special Event that Rosemary West and I are teaching is sold out. We will have some special surprises for those of you that are in the class. Many have inquired about the patterns for the two projects. They will be available via the Web as soon as the show opens in Anaheim. So you can order on line if you are not attending the show, but we would really like to see you there. Beau, our new little four legged friend, continues to grow and definitely determines the daily routine. He is so fun. The next Folk Art Journal will include some recent photos of him. He is so like a child. Each day brings a new learned skill. This past week he has discovered that he can get my attention pretty darn quickly when I am painting and don’t have time to play. He silently slips up behind me and nips me on the hips. His baby teeth are gone and the new “choppers” can catch my sweats and the first layer of my skin just perfectly. Talk about an attention grabber! My wish for you is that you should all have a "Beau". Don’t delay in taking advantage of the SALE as there will be no rain checks. Happy St. Patrick's
