The Wetterman Family Album II
On a beautiful day in October Gregg and Lissa displayed the first crop of giant pumpkins they
harvested. Jen was there, but she was the photographer. They shared their pumpkins with
family and friends. Next years goal will be even larger Texas sized pumpkins.
|
Bill Jr. and Lex live in a remarkable area and the deer come into their front yard. They come up to the edge of the lawn. They keep the area next to there yard like you see it.
|
They live in Dripping Springs in the Texas Hill Country.

Our Beau |
|
Lissa found this baby bunny in the turnip patch that was planted for the pigs. Lissa did not want to put it down so it could go back with his mommie. |
This is our new litter of Great Pyranies puppies. The mom goes under the house to have the puppies and does not bring them out for 6 weeks. When they come out they are adorable. I forgot to ask Gregg how many they have. Usually she has about 6 - 8. Lissa will be 3 in January 2013.
Heaven must be filled with little girls and puppies! |

Here is my Lissa feeding the fish in the pond. |
This is an antique store in the French Quarter. The owner gave Lissa Mardi Gras beads. Jennie is trying a pair of satin house shoes on... they cost more $$$$ than one normally spends on a 2 year old, but she loved them and Gregg and Jennie did too. Jennie said the shop was wonderful... wish I had been there. |

Lissa, the Birthday Girl, is two years old. |
This is Faye, my aunt, and Lissa Christmas Eve. Lissa was sharing the Christmas cards we had recieved.
|
I doubt that many two year olds have a battery
operated Barbie Jeep, but our girl does. Santa
was
good to her this year. She will be two January 9. |
Lissa received a set of triplets from her Grandmother and Poppa. They are motion activated and will cry, burp, giggle and make a nursing noise when she places a bottle in their mouth...adorable! We did learn there was an "off and on" switch. |

Another grad this year, Trey Wetterman will enter A and M in September and be in the Corp. We are so proud of all of his accomplishments. He is an Eagle Scout. Top 10% of his class... a very large class. He is in the National Honor Society. Ran cross country... because a lot of girls do. I thought he had his priorities in line until I learned that. (grin) |

Lissa's first Easter. She was joined
by the 6 Great Pyrenees pupies.

OK, I have to show the chickens where
their water is.
|
Arden loves the puppies as much as Lissa. |
Our grand dog, Phoebe, plays the piano when asked to. She still needs a little more practice as she is limited to only a few chords before she expects her treat. They tried to teach Beau the guitar while we were in Wichita, but he is tone deaf. |
LISSA'S FIRST VISIT TO THE ZOO
January 29, 2011
Lissa's first visit to the zoo. Looks as though she and Jennie are having a great time. Since she lives on the farm she is accustomed to seeing big animals. Today it was 70 degrees for the high. In a couple of days it will rain and our high will be 39 degrees.

Melissa Anne Wetterman (Nana calls her Lissa) 1 year old - January 8, 2011 |
It's my birthday!!!! I am in my PJ's because I am
not feeling so well, my nose is stuffy and red. Look
at my new birthday tutu, it matches my PJ's. Nana
says I look adorable.
|
I don't like my birthday hat as much as the
tutu... the sipper cup is good.
|
Hmmm... I lose the hat and she puts a bib on
me? Is that fair? Love, love the Piggy Bank!
|
I LOVE BIRTHDAYS!!! Can I have
another one tomorrow?

A Modern Texas Cowgirl
Lorree Curtis Murphy, my cousin is riding a Texas Longhorn at a rodeo in Houston a couple of years ago. A good friend promotes and, I think, provides stock for rodeos asked her to ride the longhorn. She owns her business... she is an interior designer and a cowgirl at heart.

puppies seen on the farm page.

Proud parents of Lissa .... our son Gregg and daughter-in-law Jennie. Doesn't Jennie's smile say it all?
|
I call her Lissa. She is three months old.
|
Lissa is the happiest baby I have ever seen.
